For the past 10 years I've been building websites for small businesses after having completed a TAFE Diploma of Digital Media and prior to that a TAFE Diploma of Information Technology. I had chosen the label "Web Developer" as I felt like I spent most of my time assembling websites using Drupal, contributed modules and themes created by others. Looking back though I believe I found the most fulfilment from helping the clients achieve their goals, learning new tools / techniques and the creative challenge of designing.
What I've Learnt: The contents are more important than the box.
Presently I am Philospoher (a lover of wisdom), a Husband and a Father. I am optimizing my life in order to actualize my potential aka "becoming the best version of myself". I am learning how to build a business (instead of creating a job for myself) and making the transition from solo to team.
I value Integrity, Honesty, Patience, Compassion and Perserverance.
This I am still uncertain of but a few things I do know. I will be a Creator (not a Consumer). I want to become a coach/guide/mentor (of what specifically I'm figuring out).
On my journey I will continue learning, loving and laughing. I will continue questioning, running experiments, observing and collecting data. I will continue watching and listening to grow my awareness. And I will remember to enjoy the ride and be playful.
